The Opportunity:
Responsibilities:
Operational Purchasing
- Release purchase orders for materials, services, and supplies in alignment with procurement policies and approved budgets.
- Monitor open orders and expedite deliveries to meet operational timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and support compliance with audit requirements.
- Escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders.
- Route vendor set up requests to business partner support for set up and communicate to business stakeholders
- Work closely with AP to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely payment processing.
- Coordinate with Operations and Engineering teams to understand procurement needs and lead time requirements.
- Support procurement reporting, compliance verification, and spend tracking as requested.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong Excel skills and ability to work with purchasing and inventory reports.
- Knowledge of purchasing best practices and vendor negotiation fundamentals.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
