Purpose: | The Treasury Analyst supports the organization’s financial management by assisting with day-to-day treasury operations and ensuring accuracy in financial data. This role helps maintain internal controls, contributes to financial reporting, and provides analytical support for strategic planning initiatives. The Treasury Analyst also assists in monitoring compliance with relevant laws and regulations and plays a key role in safeguarding the organization’s financial integrity through detailed analysis and reporting |
Principle Accountabilities: | Treasury Operations - Assist with daily cash management activities, including cash positioning, cash pooling, and monitoring bank accounts.
- Support the processing of payments, fund transfers, and treasury transactions.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of treasury activities into financial systems.
- Help prepare payment batches, perform bank reconciliations, and compile cash flow reports.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Provide support in monitoring budgets and financial performance, highlighting variances for review.
Cash Flow & Liquidity Management - Assist in monitoring and forecasting short-term and long-term cash flow requirements.
- Help ensure timely availability of local and foreign currency for payment needs.
- Support efforts to maintain adequate liquidity for operational and strategic requirements.
Banking & Financial Institutions - Assist with day-to-day communication and coordination with banks and financial service providers.
- Help maintain accurate records of bank mandates, signatory lists, and account structures.
Risk Management & Compliance - Support compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and audit requirements.
- Assist in identifying treasury-related risks and gathering data for mitigation strategies.
- Help maintain compliance with regulatory and reporting obligations.
Reporting & Analysis - Prepare and review treasury reports, including cash flow forecasts, investment summaries, and debt schedules.
- Assist in analyzing treasury KPIs and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to treasury.

Qualification Requirements: | - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Internship or coursework in finance, accounting, or treasury preferred; no prior full-time experience required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ERP systems, treasury management software (TMS) and/or banking platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, specifically Microsoft Excel.
