The Opportunity:

The IMAC Manager leads a team responsible for the deployment, modification, support, and decommissioning of retail technology solutions across the enterprise. This role oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of store technology installations, including broadband connectivity, network security equipment, payment processing services, point-of-sale systems, and related infrastructure. The IMAC Manager collaborates with business stakeholders, vendors, service providers, and third-party contractors to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of technology services.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of Retail Technology Specialists, including workload management, goal setting, coaching, and performance management.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to prioritize requirements and establish delivery timelines. 
  • Oversee the provisioning of broadband services, network and firewall equipment, merchant IDs, and point-of-sale hardware for new and existing locations. 
  • Manage third-party vendors and contractors responsible for technology installation, configuration, and site support. 
  • Ensure timely resolution of installation, activation, and service-related issues affecting retail operations. 
  • Coordinate site decommissioning activities, including service cancellations, equipment recovery, and vendor management. 
  • Develop and manage annual capital and operating budgets for the IMAC function. 
  • Review, approve, and manage vendor invoices and service-related expenditures. 
  • Continuously improve IMAC processes and procedures based on changes in technologies, service providers, and customer feedback. 
  • Monitor service delivery performance and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management or related field, or 5 years’ experience in retail POS service, support, development and/or project management. 

Requirements:

  • Experience managing technology deployment, field services, telecommunications, or retail technology operations.
  • Strong vendor management, budgeting, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Knowledge of networking, connectivity services, POS systems, and payment processing technologies preferred
  • Understanding of network communications, security measures, data protection and PCI standards.
