Purpose:

To coordinate and monitor the planning and distribution of the delivery of fuels to all retail and commercial site according to the group and HSEQ standards

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Take a leadership role in HSEQ activities demonstrating commitment through personal engagement exhibiting culture of care behavior for all employees.
  • Establish an effective control procedure to monitor performance and track progress toward meeting established objectives.
  • Maintain a keen awareness of developments in the economic and business environment, its impact to the Sol’s business, adapt as required to optimize business performance.
  • Other duties as required and assigned

 

Planning

  • Take the dip readings of fuel tanks at the retail sites. This is done by remote inventory monitoring system where available or else by phone call.
  • Record the dip information in the SHEDULE file.
  • Plan the delivery schedule depending on the fuel stock at the retail site, the expected price changes, the delivery sequence.
  • Aim a tank ullage at the retail sites of 80% under normal circumstances.
  • Scheduling of RVI’s (SOL/SHELL branded service stations)
  • Scheduling of commercial deliveries
  • All cheques and invoices of the previous day are registered and delivered to CSC.
  • Prepare Iamgold, Newmont and other clients ticket printers and invoices are delivered to M&S
  • All ticket printers, delivery sheets, daily inspection sheets and fatigue management sheets are checked and filed.
  • Do the load confirmation of all the completed orders of the previous day.
  • Perform the transfers in GP if ULSD has been transported to Nickerie depot.
  • If all the invoices are ready, prepare the ticket printers, seals and all relevant documents that are needed to load the trucks. Register all TP and seals. For the commercial orders determine if the RT contractors are available and if needed adjust the delivery quantity with approval of M&S.
  • Prepare the TP, seals, and all other relevant documents for the commercial deliveries. This is almost the whole day activity.
  • Check with CSC the status of invoices if on hold.
  • Communicate with Beekhuizen the planning of the deliveries.
  • Prepare daily driver’s schedule.
  • Keep file of driver leave planning and sick leave.
  • Monitor inventory of the retail sites during the day.
  • Coordinate and communicate bunker planning at the jetty.
  • Check if all TP have been returned with the TP Sequence sheet.
  • Send the sequence sheet for the deliveries of Iamgold, Newmont and other contractors to M&S in the end of the day.
  • Load confirmation of all the deliveries that has already been done for the day.
  • Dispatching at Beekhuizen depot while assisting with tanker discharge documents if needed

Qualification Requirements:

  • A College degree in Administration as a minimum qualification
  • Results driven, analytical, creative professional with strong business sense demonstrated man-management skills with advance skills in negotiations.
  • Excellent Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel (Intermediate to Advanced)
  • Listening and verbal communication
