Job Title: | Procurement Officer |

Purpose: | To assist with the acquisition of goods and services, ensuring cost effectiveness, quality, and compliance with company policies. |
Principle Accountabilities: | - Raises and closeout purchase orders in ERP.
- Verify purchase orders, invoices and other supplier documents to identify discrepancies in quantity, pricing and quality.
- Prepares, code and ensure approval of payment vouchers.
- Reconciles suppliers’ statements with sub-ledger and monitor accounts to ensure terms and credit limits are adequate.
- Maintains records of pricing and other important data.
- Review invoices from shipping companies.
- Verification of product with warehouse personnel before receipting.
- Participate in Hazard IDs, Observations and inspections as scheduled.
- Ensure that all HSSE standards and practices are complied with in all work-related activities.

Qualification Requirements: | - University Diploma in Accounting/Business Management with 2 years’ experience in procurement/purchasing.
- A valid driver’s license.

Other Competency Requirements: | - Competent in Microsoft Office especially Windows, Excel and Power point.
- Ability to work with limited supervision in a competent and reliable manner.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Team-player.
