The Opportunity:
The Sr. Specialist - IT SAP Plant Maintenance delivers support services, and supports business initiatives for all aspects of SAP S/4HANA with a strong focus on SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) Module and key integration to other modules.
Responsibilities:
- Configure SAP S/4HANA software to satisfy business requirements and process design.
- Be a trusted advisor, helping the business make better, informed decisions by presenting relevant SAP S/4HANA solution alternatives for key challenges; evaluate business and system impact of proposed changes.
- Confidently and assertively liaison with business users and management.
- Partner with multiple business units in a service provider environment of continuous change and support.
- Develop documentation that effectively feeds training and change management activities.
- Engage in other assignments as requested by management.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in business related area, engineering or information systems or additional related experience.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience supporting integrated software systems including SAP PM with configuration experience
- Excellent business process analysis and redesign experience, business analytical problem solving skills, and the ability to quickly identify problems and recommend solutions.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance business processes, configuration and functional specification design.
- Experience partnering with management and staff in a team based environment.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA both from technical and functional perspective is preferred.
- Oil and Gas industry experience is preferred.
- Work independently and in cooperation with others on multiple activities, with flexibility to manage competing demands and changing priorities.
- Extensive business and systems analysis skills that support applications development.
- A good understanding of operational processes within a company.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong relationship management skills.
- Experience with MS Office tools, particularly Excel.
- Must be customer-service oriented and adaptable to ongoing changes.
