Description
Manages all property leasing activities for the organization in support of the department director. Ensures all property leasing is done in accordance with organization policies and procedures. Oversees completion of all necessary leasing paperwork and correspondence, coordinating with appropriate parties, such as legal, as needed. Assists leadership with creation of budgets in relation to leased properties. Maintains and updates files with all expenses and revenue, ensuring accuracy. Follows up and resolves discrepancies in a timely manner. Ensures project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Coordinates with senior management on occupancy decisions. Maintains strong relationships with commercial landlords and the organization's tenants. Assists with leveraging other internal stakeholders, like maintenance, environmental services, etc to resolve issues and ensure tenant needs are met. Assists with budgeting and management of other property related projects as needed, for both leased and owned properties. Assists with budgeting and management of other capital projects as needed, for both leased and owned properties.
Leads and seeks input at the user level to support project planning efforts. Coordinates information to outside consultants or in-house to assist key decision factors to advance project development. Exercises superior project skills, and decision-making in planning and project management. In conjunction with the department Director, sets the standard for quality, scheduling and projecting essential requirements and costs assigned projectscompliance with all Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws & code standards. Follows through with on-site administration, problem solves at the district level, and ensures progress, and timely decision-making, while maintaining cost control.

Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, internet, e-mail). Windows computer skills including proficient use of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, use of drop down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations required upon employment or within the 1st two weeks of employment to perform the essential functions of the job. Performs other duties as assigned. Follows Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws and standards. Carries out the mission, vision, and quality commitment of Palomar Health.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education: Master's Degree
Minimum Experience: 5 years of finance and business experience
Preferred Experience: 5 years project property management or project management experience.
