The MEP Project Manager plays a vital role in overseeing and managing all aspects of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing focused projects within the capital construction program, renovation projects and new hospital construction projects within Palomar Health's District. This position involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including outside consultants, construction managers, contractors, architects, and state officials, to ensure the successful execution of complex healthcare facility projects. The MEP Project Manager reports directly to the Director of Construction and is responsible for delivering a high-quality construction project that meet all regulatory requirements, adhere to budget constraints, and align with Palomar Health's strategic goals. Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, internet, e-mail). Windows computer skills including proficient use of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, use of drop down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations required upon employment or within the 1st two weeks of employment to perform the essential functions of the job.
