Important contributor to the creation and publication of an electronic record for all patient types. Responsible for ensuring accurate document capture and quality images. No page omissions, duplications or blank pages (except when in the original document sequence) high resolution and brightness, absence of wavy text. Responsible for the final quality check along with ï¿½validationï¿½ and release for publication. Responsible for analysis of records for deficiencies and accurate assignment of record completion to appropriate staff member; pulling records for physician completion; entering and updating deficiencies. Perform periodic and ongoing studies regarding medical staff compliance with Hospital Bylaws/Rules and Regulations, state, federal or Joint Commission documentation regulations. Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, internet, e-mail). Windows computer skills including proficient use of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, use of drop down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations required upon employment or within the 1st two weeks of employment to perform the essential functions of the job.
