Director, Wound Care
Understands and adheres to the California Nurse Practice Act, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, the ANA Bill of Rights for Registered Nurses, and the ANA Scope and Standards for Nurse Administrators. Performs other duties as assigned. Follows PPH rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws, and standards. Carries out the mission, vision, values, and quality commitment of PPH.
|Minimum Education:||Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or related field; Master's Degree within 3 years from date of hire|
|Preferred Education:||Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field|
|Minimum Experience:||5 years wound care or related experience; 3 years most recent leadership experience; experience leading hospital service lines|
|Preferred Experience:||5+ years wound care or related experience; 3+ years most recent leadership experience; extensive experience leading hospital service lines; experience leading multiple sites|
|Required Certification:||American Heart Association recognized BLS - Heartsaver|
|Preferred Certification:||Current certification through the Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse Certification Board (WOCNCB) as either a Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN), Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) or Certified Wound Specialist (CWS), or Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse|
|Required License:||Valid Driver's License|
