Description
Handles a wide variety of confidential, time sensitive materials and projects assigned by the VP of Finance and the Executive for Special Projects. Screens and filters out incoming calls and emails. Prepares routine and advanced correspondence including letters, memoranda, and reports. Participates in and takes minutes for various Financeteam meetings. Assists in the staff timecard approval process. Supports all leaders in the Finance Division, as well as Supply Chain and the Executive for Special Projects, with managing recurring and one-time projects and initiatives.Regularly assists the Finance Department with Payroll and AP functions. Familiar with a variety of the organization's concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Coordinates the work with others to achieve the desired outcome in a timely manner. Speaks and reads English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, internet, e-mail). Possesses Windows computer skills, including proficient use of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, use of drop down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations required to perform the essential functions of the job. Performs other duties as assigned. Follows Palomar Health's rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws and standards. Carries out the mission, vision, and quality commitment of Palomar Health.
