Description
Responsible for the provision of imaging services across the Palomar Health district, and Palomar health medical Group ensuring a strategy and vision for all modalities associated with these services that support the Palomar Health & Palomar Health Medical Group strategic plan. Facilitate and liaison with PHMG and Joint Venture relationships involving imaging services that Palomar Health is engaged in with outside entities. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating all aspects of care/services delivered; insuring quality programs, patient safety and a level of customer service that strives to exceed internal and external customer expectations; develops strong relationships with primary customers. Practice excellent employee relations and attention to employee needs. Develops and mentors a high performing management team for all areas of responsibility. Ensure financial viability by managing both applicable revenue and expenses with attention to supply cost utilization and a high level of productivity in cost centers under direct control. Interface directly with the Department of Radiology and its members to ensure that the delivery of services meets the needs and expectation of all members of the medical staff. Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, internet, e-mail). Windows computer skills including proficient use of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, use of drop down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations required upon employment or within the 1st two weeks of employment to perform the essential functions of the job. Performs other duties as assigned. Follows Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws and standards. Carries out the mission, vision, and quality commitment of Palomar Health.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevent experience
Preferred Education: Masters Degree
Minimum Experience: 3 years Management experience in a hospital setting
Preferred Experience: 5 - 7 years previous experience at the director level in a multi-hospital and ambulatory setting
Required Certification: Not Applicable
Preferred Certification: Certified Radiologic Technologist CRT(R)
Required License: Valid Driver's License
Preferred License: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT(R)
Certi Radiology Tech CRT(F)
