Sr. Technical Writer (Cortex XDR)

As a Sr.Technical writer at Palo Alto Networks, you will directly help our customers, partners, and internal employees better understand how to configure and use our products to solve their endpoint security problems. We are looking for a writer who is curious not only about how a feature works, but also why and when to use it, and what the best practices are for configuring it.
Produce customer-facing documentation including release notes, administration guides, and in-app help topics for our Cortex XDR product.
Perform hands-on product testing and work with developers, QA, PMs, customers, SEs, and support to gather information required to understand the problems our users are facing and the ways our products help to solve them.
Work with product and development teams to audit UI text and provide UI feedback.
Minimum 5 years of proven technical writing experience.
Experience with topic-based writing (DITA or XML authoring) and structured authoring tools such as Adobe FrameMaker.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Hebrew and English.
Ability to see the big picture and proven track record of writing concepts and tasks from scratch.
Ability to learn new technologies in short time to find out not only how something works, but also when and why to use a particular configuration/setting.
Strong initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team, work under pressure, and maintain focus while keeping a sense of humor.
Knowledge and background in security and threat detection and response tools is a plus.
Video tutorial creation (Camtasia), and/or proficiency developing illustrations (Adobe Illustrator or PowerPoint) a plus.
