Your Career

Managing a team of  Business Development Representatives (BDR) is not an easy job but you're up for it! Being a Sales Development Manager means setting a vision, motivating your team and leading them to success.  It means hiring and coaching team members as wells as partnering with sales, marketing and operations leaders.

Your Impact

  • Ongoing hiring, mentoring and development of the sales development team which includes recruiting, hiring and training new reps coaching reps on strategy, techniques and having consistent 1:1’s with team members 
  • Work closely with Field Marketing and Marketing on campaign strategy follow up 
  • Develop strategic Go-To-Market initiatives for US and Canada  
  • Work with back-office team on lead flow optimization and prioritization for team
  • Working with Regional Directors and Managers Corporate Sales on territory development
  • Working with sales operations on compensation and commission planning
  • Refine and evolve a scalable, measurable and predictable process for running and growing the team
  • Provide weekly reporting on volume statistics, lead pipeline, conversion to qualified prospects, sales opportunities generated and campaign effectiveness to our Executive Leadership team
  • Ability to design spiff and incentives for BDR groups to drive/achieve results 

Your Experience

  • Minimum five years directly managing a team of SDR/BDR’s
  • Possess a high energy, strong desire to achieve top results with a positive “can-do" attitude over the phone and in-person
  • Ability to navigate SFDC reporting, dashboards, and sales acceleration tools (Outreach.io, Navigator, DiscoverOrg, etc). 
  • A leader with a passion for Software as a Service (SaaS) and a desire to build a career in IT Security a plus. 
  • Resourcefulness and ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment
  • Experience hiring and working in a rapidly growing environment
  • Very motivated, proactive and goal-oriented
  • Consistently meets or exceeds metrics set by management
  • Experience with AWS, Azure or other cloud technologies a plus
  • Proven track record of leading a successful team
  • Experience hiring and working in a rapidly growing environment
