Senior Solutions Manager

Palo Alto Networks is building a world-class solution management organization and continues to look for top-notch talent with product management/product marketing/solution management background to expand the team.  As a Senior Solution Manager at Palo Alto Networks, you will be responsible for  driving innovative solutions for Managed Security Services segment in support of a product(s) and GTM strategy.

In addition to your own creativity, you will also rely on interaction with customers and partners to understand solution offering requirements and needs. You will be expected to deliver solution offerings, innovative business models for MSSPs that matches Palo Alto’s level of innovation found throughout the product portfolio.  Since this role is vertically focused, you will need to work very closely with individual product managers and sales across our broader team 

Other responsibilities include collaborating with Product Marketing to create product related sales and marketing materials; evangelizing the solutions strategy and roadmap both internally and externally.


  • Develop innovative solution offerings in support of a product strategy

  • Support MSSP sales teams and MSSPs with offering creation, go-to-market strategy, and execution

  • Provide market and customer analysis, solution and business case development, collateral creation

  • Ability to work effectively with all areas of the organization: product management, sales, marketing, BD, Ops etc.

  • Customer engagement and relationship development for solution offering evangelism, and requirements gathering 


  • Drive to design something new, innovative, and disruptive

  • Strong domain expertise in networking and security for service provider environments

  • Deep technical and business competence to provide oversight for solution offering  

  • Operates independently and takes initiative within his/her area of responsibility

  • Anticipates future needs and proactively works to get ahead of potential issues 

  • Minimum 10+ years in product management/Product Marketing/SI partner or equivalent

  • Significant experience building and launching creative services for service providers and telcos

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Demonstrable track record of success 

  • Willingness to travel to meet with customers to gather insight as well as provide recommendations to make the products successful globally
