Your Career

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Director of Product Marketing to join our team. You and your team will own the messaging and product marketing strategy for cloud security at Palo Alto Networks. You will work closely with product management, sales, customers and technology partners to deeply understand our target audience, key issues they are experiencing, our unique value proposition, and competitive landscape. You will use this knowledge to develop the product marketing strategy, tactics, messaging and training to drive pipeline growth and conversion. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this position will work closely with key stakeholders across the company.

Your Impact

  • Craft strategy and guide execution of all aspects of product marketing, including product positioning and messaging, target customer definition, competitive strategy and tactics, industry analyst engagement, media relations, and enablement
  • Create compelling, highly differentiated product positioning and content
  • Develop a strategy to enable sales and partners
  • Engage with industry analysts and media to ensure positive reports and articles
  • Arm the sales team with strategies and competitive intelligence that increase sales productivity and pipeline conversion
  • Represent Palo Alto Networks externally at conferences and in customer meetings in a credible and compelling manner
  • Lead and mentor a global team of campaign and program managers
  • Consistently meet commitments with high-quality deliverables and scalable processes that can be sustained over time

Your Experience

  • 15+ years product marketing experience and results in a technical B2B industry; security, networking, or public cloud experience required
  • Technical undergraduate and MBA are desirable
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team
  • Excellent communications and project management skills as well as exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of team members across different functions
  • Capacity to think creatively and come up with unique solutions or ideas
  • Driven, self-motivated, and always looking for ways to improve on our current marketing efforts
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
