Your Career

Palo Alto Networks is looking for a Senior Accountant to the team to help drive financial accounting quality, accounting process efficiencies and robust internal controls through the Company’s continued high pace of growth. This person will perform general accounting tasks and work with a cross-functional team, support projects and implement process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Your Impact
  • Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for various accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP
  • Manage Fixed assets tasks, including but not limited to day to day processing of CAPEX transactions and month-end reconciliation
  • Assist with tasks associated with the new lease accounting guidance under ASC 842
  • Partner with a cross-functional teams, such as FP&A, Accounts Payable and IT teams on a regular basis
  • Reconcile asset and liability account balances, maintaining the general ledger and executing assigned month-end close procedures
  • Assist with other projects and responsibilities as required
Your Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Experience with SAP, specifically fixed assets module or other large ERP systems a plus
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience a plus
  • Detail oriented and efficient in processing transactions
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint (G-Suite is a plus!)
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized and prioritize deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Promotes teamwork and works well with others
  • Energetic and positive attitude
