Here’s what you’ll deliver:
- Establish and maintain good relationships with customers and to exceed their expectations.
- Develop and maintain a culture that values excellent customer service through effective training, supervision, coaching and performance management.
- Review and implement Service Centre policies and procedures that improve the Customer Experience through high quality repairs and building customer relationships.
- Assist with developing and implementing a longer-term strategy and action plan to attract and retain customers.
- Assist with coaching team members to provide excellent customer service.
- Recruit, develop, motivate, recognize and hold accountable a Service team that will meet established objectives and targets for sales and profitability.
- Improve sales and profitability for the Service Department.
- Communicating with Technicians and Parts Team to ensure timely completion of work
- Assist with conducting monthly meetings with department employees to discuss activities and problems of mutual interest.
- Establish and enforce product-knowledge standards.
- Actively support, encourage, and motivate staff daily to maintain high morale.
- Monitor the operating budget by tracking sales and expenses.
- Promote service safety and security procedures.
- Uphold all rules and procedures (i.e., support enforcement, including disciplinary action as necessary).
- Work in strict compliance with the Laws of the Province of Ontario and Canada including, but not limited to, the Employment Standards Act (ESA), the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act (MVDA) and the Accessibilities for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
- Understand and comply with all federal, provincial and local regulations that affect service operations, such as the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), waste disposal regulations, etc.
- Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures.
- Other duties as required by management.
What you need to succeed:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum 3 years experience in the automotive service industry.
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in the automotive industry.
- CDK experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong computer and leadership skills..
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Exceptional customer service orientation.
- Must have valid Class ‘G’ Ontario driver's license and clean drivers abstract.
- Automotive Technician’s License is an asset.
- May be required to work on Saturday as per business needs.
- Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills translating technical details for the laymem
- Experience with Ford an asset

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent
Compensation (expected annual compensation): $70,000 - $90,000 per year (base salary plus monthly performance-based bonuses). This range includes a fixed base salary and eligibility for monthly bonuses tied to individual results and/or department performance, which may be influenced by business volumes. Actual bonus earnings vary based on performance.
