Performance Mercedes-Benz is actively seeking a Sales Consultant. The successful candidate would be an enthusiastic, goal driven individual with a positive attitude. The Sales Consultant is responsible for the sales operations of the dealership, ensuring that all key sales objectives are met. You will motivate and develop a winning team, providing the motivation for increased sales and exceptional customer service levels. You possess a superior business intellect, responding quickly and effectively to marketplace dynamics by creating strategies that will ensure the dealership’s continued success.

Here’s what you’ll deliver:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service on all interactions, give all customers consideration and respect, understand their needs, and consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Answer Customer Service phone calls relating to car sales inquiries and keeping them informed with vehicle delivery and pick up.
  • Ensure customer car quotes are competitive and reasonable.
  • Project a positive attitude for the benefit of our customers and fellow employees.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all rules, regulations and procedures as required by the employer, and in compliance with the requirements and regulations of the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC).
What you need to succeed:
  • Grade 12 or GED
  • Minimum 1 - 3 years of automotive sales experience required, luxury sales experience an asset.
  • Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
  • May be required to work on Saturday as per business needs.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Comfortable with contacting guests over the phone and email.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Team Oriented with a positive attitude.
  • OMVIC certification is required.

***This compensation range will be based on knowledge, experience, commission and bonus earnings***

Job Type:  Full Time - Permanent
Compensation: $80,000 - $120,0000
