Director, Spine HCP Marketing
Description
- The Director, Spine HCP Marketing is the Spine market and Brand expert who sets strategic direction and ensures execution for portfolio growth through development and execution of marketing campaigns and strategies, portfolio development, internal and external education strategies, and customer engagement campaigns.
- In alignment with the global brand strategy, set annual and long-range Spine strategy to achieve required growth, profit and market share targets.
- Create/distribute scalable assets, tools, marketing campaigns and best practices which can be localized for maximum impact.
- Identify education, brand experience and customer engagement opportunities for both internal and external audiences to increase brand perception and value in collaboration with Medical Education Partner.
- Develop trust and build strong relationships with sales professionals, internal stakeholders, and key customers (KOL).
- Take the lead in developing KOL’s for the Spine market. Manage KOL relationships.
- Provide analysis of business performance, brand perception, and other drivers of future brand performance. Define mitigating actions to deliver on strategy. Share marketing intelligence and information with the team. Coach others on the market positioning and strengths/weaknesses of key competitors.
- In partnership with Commercial and medical Learning & Development, identify internal training needs and create relevant content and training programs.
- Collaborate and influence others on cross-functional teams, advancing partnerships to achieve business objectives.
- Demonstrate financial acumen. Track and manage budgets, forecasts, and assumptions.
- Work with Analytics team on data collection, analysis, and reporting tools for the Spine Business.
- Manage all relevant Spine Conferences and events.
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university, MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of work experience required.
- 8+ years of pharmaceutical or Orthopedics industry marketing required.
- 2+ years of people management experience preferred.
- Sales experience in pharmaceutical or Orthopedics industry preferred.
- Growth-oriented strategic thinker with strong knowledge and expertise in spine
- Goal-oriented orchestrator, who can effectively coordinate and focus the work of skilled employees toward an important goal, prioritizing the right activities that lead to success.
- Network builder, who builds connections with other teams and coordinates cross-functional collaboration.
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively in complex, rapidly changing environment.

- Demonstrated strong analytical skills.
- Strong project and process management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proven track record of measurable success in developing and executing marketing plans in the pharmaceutical or orthopedic industry.
- Financial acumen.
- Excellent oral and written English communications skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 40%.
