We are looking to add a Part-Time Dental Hygienist to our team here at Michael Pitt DDS to help us continue our tradition of providing the highest quality patient care available.

Dr. Pitt and the team are committed to the health of our patients and to making the experience of going to the dentist a positive one for everyone we serve. 
We use the latest technology and techniques to make this happen.

Michael Pitt DDS operates Monday - Wednesday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, and Thursday from 8 AM to 12 PM. 

Your schedule will be 1 day a week (Wednesday), starting at 7:30 AM.

As a Dental Hygienist, you will: 

  • Provide our patients with ongoing preventive oral care by cleaning, scaling and polishing teeth to prevent gum disease 
  • Provide treatment for patients with infection and disease 
  • Record treatment information on the patient's chart, including treatment rendered, the type of treatment planned and the amount of chair time, doctor time and assistant time needed for next appointment 
  • Administer Nitrous Oxide and Oxygen to patients as applicable 
  • Scan for digital impressions of diagnostic models 
  • Record evaluation of periodontal conditions, occlusal relations and extent of prophylaxis on dental chart to ensure a complete diagnosis and proper treatment plan by the dentist according to ADA guidelines 
  • Educate patients when it comes to their oral health care needs and prevention of disease
