Location: Remote (within driving distance to P1 Dental Partners’ Indiana and Illinois regions); Corporate Office: Indianapolis, IN

Key Responsibilities
System Implementation & Optimization:
- Support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of electronic dental records (EDR), practice management systems (primarily Dentrix Ascend), and other clinical applications.
- Work closely with IT and clinical teams to refine system workflows, ensuring alignment with best practices in dental care.
- Assist in system testing, upgrades, and validation to confirm functionality meets clinical and operational requirements.
Training & Support:
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for teams on system updates, best practices, and new workflows.
- Provide ongoing end-user support, including ticket management, troubleshooting system issues, and escalating concerns when necessary.
- Serve as a liaison between IT and clinical staff, translating technical concepts into clear, practical guidance.
Data Management & Reporting:
- Support data governance efforts to maintain accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in generating reports and analyzing clinical data to drive informed decision-making and enhance patient outcomes.
- Participate in committees to develop dashboards and reporting tools that improve clinical efficiency.
- Work cross functionally by assisting corporate team with analyzing practice level performance utilizing data from Power BI and P1's data warehouse.
Compliance & Quality Improvement:
- Ensure clinical systems adhere to HIPAA regulations, security protocols, and other compliance standards.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by leveraging data-driven insights and best practices.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in informatics, computer science, or a related field (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience with the full life cycle of dental practice management products (Dentrix Ascend preferred) and/or relevant experience in the healthcare industry
- Basic understanding of coding languages such as Java, C, Python, or SQL.
- Background with product demonstrations (strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated knowledge of agile methodology
- Experience with Power BI (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Travel Required – 25% with possible overnight stays up to two days during implementations
