OMNIVISION’s Information Technology organization is looking for a Network Manager to join its team.  You will join an amazing global IT team with the opportunity to manage, design and future proof OMNIVISION’s large scale network infrastructure throughout the globe and using latest technologies from technology vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, and more.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee, maintain and future proof OMNIVISION’s global network infrastructure which includes and is not limited to: LAN, WAN, Routing, switching, firewall, wireless (Meraki), MPLS, IPSec, VPN…etc
  • Oversee, maintain and future proof global firewall infrastructure with multiple vendors ranging from Cisco ASA/FirePower, Palo Alto Networks/Panorama, and Fortinet Fortigate firewalls.
  • Design and implement ISEPic and related tools to manage all network devices.
  • Configure and improve Global VPN Strategy and related equipment.
  • Act as the subject matter expert of common networking technologies, including NAT, PAT, DHCP, RADIUS, VLANs, TFTP, NAC, DNS, CIDR, ARP, ISE, fiber optics, VPN, BGP, ACLs, packet capture/analysis, Netflow, VoIP, encryption, network segmentation, load-balancer, tunneling, filtering, and other network technologies.
  • Design, implement, and future proof monitoring strategy of all network equipment, network segments and network performance, and establish performance baselines.
  • Implement patching and security update program to ensure all network infrastructure equipment are up-to-date on software features and on security updates.
  • Design, implement, and future proof new and remodeling of office networks
  • Oversee budget and forecast in respect to network equipment, network related tools (e.g. network monitoring software), subscriptions (licenses and added modules), network connectivity recurring charges (WAN, SD_WAN, MPLS…etc), hardware/software upgrades, network projects…etc.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and business departments to implement various control, access permission for business and compliance needs. 
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in the Information Technology as Sr. Network Engineer or Network Manager
  • Leadership experience: Minimum 5 years in leadership, adept at building relationships across various levels.  Proven track record in delivering network projects on time and within budget.
  • Technical expertise: Expert knowledge of Cisco Systems, Palo Alto Networks, ACL, ISE, SD-WAN, Routing, Switching, wireless technologies (such as Meraki).
  • Strong problem-solver.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Travel Availability: Able to travel domestically and internationally around 10% of the time.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, …etc are a plus.
Annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between $156,100 - $173,800. Actual pay will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant skills, experience and the pay of employees in the similar role.
