Hardware Test Engineer
Description
Experience:
Hands-on experience with PCB design/debug, sensor and equipment control, and power supply systems. Familiarity with microcontrollers and Python programming is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Set up sensors and data acquisition systems.
- Support burn-in system setup and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve setup issues.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including reports, flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics.
- Perform daily maintenance of burn in chambers and lab equipment.
- Partner with test engineers to develop solutions that improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of current and proposed systems.
- Conduct tests and record data to support evaluation and analysis by test engineering teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or Computer engineering
- Project experience demonstrating technical skills and aptitude in the described areas.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Experience with burn in chamber or microcontroller is a plus
- Experience with PCB schematic is a plus
- Prior work experience at a semiconductor company is a plus
Annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between $90,000 - $120,000. Actual pay will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant skills, education, experience, and the pay of employees in the similar role.
