Product Engineer
Description
We are seeking an experienced Product Engineer to lead the development of new products from tapeout to mass production. The ideal candidate will design characterization/testing plans, collaborate with R&D teams and manufacturing engineers, and resolve technical issues to meet performance requirements. For existing products, the successful candidate will maintain technical support and drive yield improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement characterization/testing plans for new products
- Collaborate with R&D teams and manufacturing engineers to resolve technical issues
- Analyze yield data and drive corrective actions for yield improvements
- Lead product introduction and ramp-up processes for image sensors and ASIC devices
- Develop and finalize product datasheets based on characterization results
- Work closely with testing engineers to develop, verify, and release testing programs
- Participate in cross-functional teams for product definition and DFM inputs
- Maintain and sustain technical support for existing products
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in image sensor, memory (flash, SRAM, DRAM), or ASIC products
- Familiarity with silicon processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
- Mandarin speaking and writing proficiency (preferred)
Annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between $80,600 - $115,000. Actual pay will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant skills and experience, and the pay of employees in the similar role.
