Staff Sensor Characterization Engineer
Description
Conduct analytic studies of CMOS image sensor’s fundamental performance issues and provide technical suggestions of improvement; work with analog/digital design team to troubleshoot chip/system level performance issues; process and analyze R&D test data to obtain knowledge of product development; develop scientific approaches for characterizing image sensor/camera system’s performances; conduct modeling and simulation of imaging systems; conduct image quality calibration, evaluation and analysis, and ISP pipeline tuning.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physical Electronics, or related fields and three years of experience in CMOS image sensor related development role.
The required experience shall include:
- Image sensor development;
- Evaluate analog characteristics of image sensors for medical applications;
- Evaluate the one chip characteristics, measure reliability test;
- Operate the sensor by using the resister and obtain the basic characteristics;
- Evaluate and vitrificate of a prototype image sensor for surveillance;
- Tune circuit parameter of counter circuit for mass-production security image sensor;
- Verify the operation properly and voltage drop;
- Conduct image quality calibration, evaluation and analysis
Annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between $153,504 - $160,000. Actual pay will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant skills and experience, and the pay of employees in the similar role.
