Position Summary:  
The Social Media Strategy Associate will report directly to the Regional Director and will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of the social media marketing strategy for the region. This role is crucial in expanding the organization's marketing reach. The Social Media Strategy Associate will manage the region’s social media accounts and marketing strategy. The selected employee must live in the South Florida area. 
 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Social Media Strategy & Planning:  
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth across all Southern NCSY social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
    • Create and manage a social media content calendar, ensuring consistent and timely posting.
  • Content Creation & Management:  
    • Collaborate with the regional team to create engaging, high-quality content (graphics, videos, stories, etc.) that resonates with our target audience of teens, parents, community members and donors.
    • Write compelling captions, posts, and stories that reflect Southern NCSY’s voice and mission.
    • Manage day-to-day social media activities, including scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with followers.
    • Travel to programs to capture photos and videos where applicable.
  • Analytics & Reporting:  
    • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to inform strategy and optimize content.
    • Track the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions to improve engagement and reach.
  • Community Engagement:  
    • Actively engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and positive manner.
    • Foster relationships with influencers, partners, and key stakeholders to expand Southern NCSY’s digital reach.
  • Collaboration & Innovation:  
    • Work closely with the regional director, marketing team, and program staff to align social media efforts with organizational goals and initiatives.
    • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices, and bring new ideas to the table to enhance our digital presence.
