About the Role

Under the guidance of the Supervisor, Compliance Operations, the Insurance Compliance Assistant supports the daily operations of the Statistical Department through database maintenance, reporting, and audit-related processing. This role plays an important part in keeping workflows organized, accurate, and moving efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll help support the day-to-day operations and reporting functions that keep our Compliance and Statistical teams running smoothly. Responsibilities include:
  • Inputting daily premium transactions from multiple sources into the appropriate Access databases to support daily production workflow, while also calculating and assigning audit endorsements and processing cancellations.
  • Monitoring audit department notifications, determining correct account assignments, importing documentation into imaging systems, and updating audited premium information within internal databases.
  • Identifying and processing regulatory notices and bureau criticisms by assigning transactions, importing supporting documentation, and maintaining accurate database records.
  • Submitting and reviewing daily premium postings related to renewals, endorsements, cancellations, claims activity, and new claim listings to help ensure workflow accuracy and quality control standards are met.
  • Preparing and maintaining statistical insurance reports, New Claims Reports, and Exception/Unmatched Reports used to support department operations and compliance efforts.
  • Performing data integrity verification checks as part of internal Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working with large amounts of data in a fast-moving environment.
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience analyzing large amounts of data
  • The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support team operations.
