What you’ll be working on

In this role you will have the exciting opportunity to design and manage the user journey, ensuring seamless interactions and intuitive interfaces. You will be responsible for constructing visually appealing and user-friendly product and service interfaces that align with our brand's vision and enhance the overall user experience. Your day-to-day

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and researchers, to define user experience goals and requirements.
  • Conduct user research and gather insights to inform the design process, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Design and iterate wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate and visualize user interfaces.
  • Develop user personas, user flows, and journey maps to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement in the user experience.
  • Create visually appealing and intuitive interface designs that align with the brand identity and elevate the overall user experience.
  • Implement interaction design principles, including micro-interactions, animations, and transitions, to enhance user engagement and delight.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to continuously iterate and refine designs based on user needs and preferences.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design, and propose innovative design solutions.
  • Manage design projects, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring high-quality and timely execution of design tasks.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.

You should apply if

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of successful design projects.
  • You are proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, or similar software.
  • You have a solid understanding of user-centred design principles, information architecture, and interaction design concepts.
  • You have experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering user feedback to inform design decisions.
  • Excellent visual design skills with an eye for aesthetics, typography, and composition.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of iOS & Android front-end development technologies and their impact on design implementation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and explain design concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Even better if you have

  • Any experience with front-end mobile development Experience with software.
  • Development workflow in an agile environment.
  • Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Amplitude, and Hotjar, a plus.
  • HTML/CSS and Javascript experience.
  • A genuine passion for sports and athletics that showcases an understanding of our target audience and their ability to design experiences that resonate with athletes and sports enthusiasts.

Pay range: £46,000 to £64,000 annually

THE INTERVIEW PROCESS

  1. Resume Review & Short List.
  2. Initial Call (Depending on the role, a take home task may also be requested).
  3. Final Interview.
