Travel Requirements: Around 25% of the time, domestic & global travel

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 
 
YOU SHOULD HAVE 
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent, 10-15+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong ability to manage and build relationships and trust with multiple stakeholders internal and external to the organization
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
  • Experience with enterprise high tech clients (Intel, Microsoft, Oracle, etc.) a plus
  • Experience with budget management, financial tracking and contract negotiations
  • Knowledge of accounting, marketing and sales tactics/strategies
  
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Owns the client relationship on assigned brands. Owns the brand strategy and effectively influence the client to achieve brand objectives. Contributes to and may be accountable for new business development. Responsible for staffing, managing and leading the assigned account team.   
  •  Develops and maintains strong client relationships and creates client success by providing unique and effective solutions to our clients
  • Maintains leading-edge knowledge of clients’ culture, processes, structure, business, and industry to service them effectively and is responsible for the overall satisfaction and retention of client(s)
  • Shows value across all agency service lines and effectively communicates client needs to direct teams to successful delivery
  • Guides the development, writing, and presentation of incremental project proposals, scopes of work, schedules and staffing plans
  • Drives and leads new business pitches and grows account portfolio via service line growth and new events
  • Maintains a passion for the brand strategy and can have the complex conversations at a broader business level and sell in the strategic story
  • Reports on accountability for all aspects of the clients’ business
  • Maintains a dashboard to track all key client metrics and plans deliverables and creates action plans to achieve key metrics
  • Owns the overall responsibility for account revenue targets and profitability goals
  • Manages budget process form a profit generation perspective including expense management, client quoting, and profit modeling
  • Stays abreast of client billing escalation issues and ensures they are being resolved
  • Forecasts budget estimates and percent to close rations for pipeline reports and manages scope creep and client’s budgets to maintain profitability
  • Provides leadership necessary to direct and motivate Opus team members across disciplines (strategy, creative, production, and finance) to contribute and deliver absolute best work while exceeding client expectations
  • Conceptualizes strategic client programs, understanding the in-depth view of the account as a whole along with industry insight
  • Responsible for keeping an eye on the account as a whole and how we are being measured on all projects produced within an account
  • Manages for account success and client relationship, understands event cycles and customer needs and creates customer/partner relationship
  • Sets up in-person quarterly touch-base meetings with client
  • Provides fresh strategic ideas to grow and expand the account and adds vision and creativity to client programs
  • Participates in development of new product lines, modification of existing product lines, & termination of ineffective product lines in an effective and professional manner
  • Grows Account business and meet revenue goals through a solid understanding of all Opus product lines and ability to upsell/cross-sell services
  • Drives revenue through recognition and realization of opportunity with existing accounts
  • Keeps abreast of latest industry trends in order to keep program fresh and on the cutting edge within the client’s industry
 
Agency Operations  
 
  • Agency Champion: Seeks opportunities to showcase agency work among current and prospective clients
  • Finances: Understands agency revenue and profitability model. Owns the revenue and forecast for the brand. Vigilantly seeks to optimize agency service and internal resources for their accounts.  
  • Team Leadership: Serves as team leader to both integrated agency team and to client. Provide assistance related to agency/team/management policies and practices 
  • Advances best practices in agency process
  • Help interview, train, and orient new team members to the agency, department, and account(s) at the direction of the VP, Client Services
  • Provide ongoing guidance to all team members and be available to them as a resource for account/agency/departmental policies, procedures, etc.
  • Fully participate in new business pitches/leads/brainstorms related to the accounts managed
  • Support new business pitches & learn the MAS narrative 
  • Owns the client relationship on assigned brands.
  • Relationship: Very client facing. Outstanding client service & relationship building.
  • Proactively manages relationship with clients and seeks opportunities to strengthen/build new relationships.
  • New Business: Seeks opportunities to grow business within current accounts and into new verticals within their accounts
  • Monitor and identify future issues facing your client; bring strategic solutions to the table for their business
  • Effectively identify and develop new client relationships

YOU SHOULD HAVE 

•  You should have a background in IRL events, virtual events, & content generation. 
•  Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and present important findings (both quantitative and analytic skills) and then apply to future events.
•  Excellent project management and multitasking skills.
•  Exceptional writing skills, with an editorial point of view for what is right for a platform’s brand and voice.

HOW WE’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU 
 
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting salary for this role is between $135,000-$160,000. Our salary ranges are based on third-party national average market compensation analysis. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Physical Requirements: 

Individuals will be required to sit for the majority of the day and will be required to stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required.  Individuals will be required to travel via airplane, train, taxi, car and/or other means of transportation as needed.
