Position overview:
This position consists of maintaining a machine as well as training and assisting others in trouble shooting issues throughout the day.

Main responsibilities:
• Train new operators in heading and secondary depts.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, PPE
• Train new operators on how to properly set up & operate their assigned machine.
• Help trouble shoot issues on tooling and machine adjustments.
• Work with quality & engineering on new and existing parts (quality issues)
• Help maintain set up sheets and tool kits to be able to repeat set up’s
• Maintain housekeeping to ensure the shop floor is visitor ready any time.
• Monitor all equipment to meet our safety standards (two hand jog – brakes in good working
condition.
• Must work well with all employees on both shifts.
• Must be able to fill in for hot machines and operators out for vac. To maintain production
levels.
• Perform spot checks throughout the day to ensure parts are to print and correct wire is being
used as well as SPC is done on time.
• Encourage good communication between shifts.
• Make sure machines are running to the correct speed if not correct the issue or have it
updated with engineering.

Skills and Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years relevant machining experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Leadership: positive attitude with ability to motivate a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to read all gauges needed (mics-calibers- height stand- penetration gages
• Ability to teach all aspects of the job.
• Forklift experience preferred.
