Position overview:
The Tool Maker is responsible for manufacturing, assembling, disassembling, repairing, and 
modifying tool sets for Cold Heading and Roll forming
Main responsibilities:
• Manufacture and fitting of plant and machinery subcontracted to the Toolroom.
• Project work as assigned by the Toolroom Foreman and Tooling Room Manager.
• Self-certification of work in accordance with the Quality and Continual Improvement 
commitment.
• Submission of work for QA checking as required.
• To assist management and staff in the identification, and introduction of all 
reasonable measures to improve productivity, quality and working methods and 
conditions as part of the continual improvement and TQM programs.
• Perform necessary preventive maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment.
• Perform general cleanup, clerical, or maintenance work incidental to the operation 
of the tool crib.
• Observe safe work practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years relevant experience required, Manufacturing setting preferred.
• Good knowledge of machine shop and mechanical maintenance tools and their 
repair.
• Ability to read, understand and maintain records as required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Demonstrates effective oral communication skills
