Reporting to the IT PMO leader, the Business Analyst is responsible for understanding all system integrations & processes for Optimas, focusing on Finance & Operations/Supply Chain.  The Business Analyst manages the documentation and business knowledge on behalf of the IT organization, understanding our financial practices & day-to-day operations in local markets, all while marching towards an overall global strategy.  This role ensures that Optimas continually looks forward for enabling business advancement, improving its financial management & supply chain management efficiencies via technology, and attracting modern talent and skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements related to Finance or Supply Chain & Operations at Optimas
  • Design, document and maintain core system processes and integrations
  • Perform quality assurance and testing for new functionality
  • Continually look for ways to improve Finance or Ops processes, discover issues and deliver better value using technology to the customer and the company
  • Act as lead BA representing IT, Operations and Finance on a variety of key Optimas projects
  • Develop relationships with teams and subject matter experts in both the IT, Finance and Operations departments around the globe

Required Skills & Experience:

  • BS degree. Information Systems/Technology, Supply Chain Management/Operations or Finance/Accounting a plus
  • 3 - 5 years or related experience in understanding finance and accounting processes or supply chain and operations processes
  • Oracle Netsuite ERP or similar ERP system experience preferred
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing, working on multiple projects at a given time
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
  • Knowledge in generating process documentation and project management processes, using tools such as Confluence & Jira, Microsoft Project, etc.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance in addition to working collaboratively with cross-functional teams that work virtually or from remote offices
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Attitude & work ethic adaptable to change in a fast-paced work environment
