The New Business Sourcing Analyst is responsible for sourcing parts in line with the sourcing strategy at the lowest total cost, must be an organized professional with clear communication skills. Outstanding collaboration between Sourcing, Sales & Supply Chain teams is critical to achieve the objectives.

Main responsibilities:
The New Business Sourcing Analyst will be responsible of the following:
- Plan, track and follow up all Request for Quote to meet required timelines while ensuring quality in the process and outcome.
- Negotiate cost, payment terms, Incoterms, lead-times, and other terms with suppliers.
- Identify, resolve, and support Sales during the negotiation with customer to ensure close the RFQ’s.
- Communicate pertinent information to both internal customers and external suppliers to keep apprised and to prevent problems.
- Weekly reports based on the KPI’s.
- Leverage analytics and best practices to create efficiencies and drive sourcing initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Sourcing team on supplier/ product strategies.
Key Competencies / Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have the following competencies:
- Bachelors’ degree on Industrial Engineer or similar field, combined experience in purchasing/ procurement on a manufacturing environment/working directly with industrial manufacturing suppliers. Relevant work history and experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Knowledge of materials management, supply chain, vendor sourcing.
- English communication skills – Written and spoken.
- Solid experience in working with Microsoft 365.
- Good level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using formulas, inserting charts, sorting, pivot tables).
- Experience on reading engineering drawings.
- Understanding of supply contracts and related terms and conditions.
- Good organizational skills – ability to prioritize multiple tasks and do problem solving independent of supervision.
- Willing to learn about the product and the global market conditions, the impact to the specific cost drivers of those products under his/her responsibility.
- Ability to exercise and apply critical thinking to day-to-day situations.
- Strong communication skills and a team player.
- Understanding of analytical tools with a financial awareness and ability to perform cost/benefit analysis.
- Customer first mentality.
- The person must be able to travel for meetings and/or trainings from time to time.
