Title: Solutions Engineer 
Department: Account Management
The Solutions Engineer provides strong loan origination systems (LOS) and Open Lending product guidance to clients and prospects – lending subject matter expertise and consulting to help close sales, assist implementation and on-going client satisfaction of our Open Lending product platform.  Primary point person for the sales and account management organization in setting good expectations around partner system capabilities and limitations and will work closely with leads in IT (development and integrations) to obtain and maintain knowledge of partner systems and how they are used by clients. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Own and manage LOS partner integration relationships, acting as the technical product subject matter expert on partner capabilities, configurations, and integration design.
  • Serve as the technical lead and trusted advisor for strategic accounts, providing deep product knowledge and solution architecture expertise.
  • Collaborate with Sales on sales calls, serving as a subject matter expert on partner loan origination systems (LOS), capabilities and limitations, and best practice configuration with Lenders Protection assisting in closing opportunities.
  • Design and present customized solutions, demos, and proof-of-concepts that align with client objectives and drive adoption.
  • Follow-up with prospects to ensure technical questions are addressed to facilitate client due diligence in the sales cycle.
  • Facilitate the client's implementation technical setup and provide best practice configuration to optimize application flow, avoid known issues, leverage workarounds related to the integration between their LOS and the Open Lending platform.
  • Follow-up with clients during implementation to ensure technical questions are addressed to facilitate early client adoption.
  • Client point of contact for clients moving to a new LOS and continue using lenders protection.
  • ApexOne Auto and future product integration capabilities and configuration for new and existing clients 
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to understand client goals, challenges, and business processes, translating them into actionable technical solutions.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions, solution workshops, and onboarding processes for new and existing clients.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing optimization of solutions.
  • Monitor solution performance and client satisfaction, proactively identifying opportunities for enhancement, expansion, and automation opportunities.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform solution strategy and innovation.
 
Education & Experience: 
  • 5+ years of experience in solution engineering, pre-sales, technical consulting, or related roles. 
  • Prior experience and/or working knowledge of loan origination systems within the Credit Union and Bank industry. 
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Experience working directly with clients in a consultative capacity, preferably in account management or client success environments. 
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment. 
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, data analytics platforms, and workflow automation tools. 
  • Bachelors preferred (not required) 
  
Physical Requirements: 
  
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Some travel required.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
