The Opportunity:

 

We are seeking a Network Data Analyst to help our team translate data into insights that help customers and internal teams make better decisions. You will work with large-scale datasets which will empower the sales teams across Ookla.

This role works with data at scale. This role represents an entry point into Network Intelligence, focused on analytical methods to customer facing, pre-sales and post-sales adoption use cases. Telecom / mobile-network domain experience is a strong plus.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Network Intelligence Analysts provide insights that enables solution success; 

  • Analyze large-scale telecommunications and network performance datasets, including crowdsourced measurement data

  • Support pre-sales engagements by providing customer-specific analysis, benchmarks, and solution-relevant data-driven insights

  • Apply established methodologies and models to customer, market, and competitive questions

  • Develop clear, customer-ready insights, visualizations, and data stories

  • Partner with Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Solutions Managers during deal qualification and solution validation

  • Support Customer Solutions and Services teams with post-sale analysis and validation to inform adoption and outcome realization

  • Respond to analytical requests with accuracy and urgency, prioritizing customer impact and solution relevance

  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Product teams to ensure data quality and usability

 



Job Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or BI roles within the telecommunications or connectivity domain

  • Strong SQL skills and experience querying large-scale datasets

  • Experience using Python or R for data analysis and modeling

  • Foundational understanding of mobile, broadband, or internet network performance metrics

  • Experience working with crowdsourced or large-scale observational datasets strongly preferred

  • Ability to communicate analytical insights to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Compensation Range 

Ookla provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The salary compensation for this role is €60,000 - €67,000. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance.
