Sales Operations Analyst

Ontario Systems has a new and exciting position for a Sales Operations Analyst in our Finance Department.  

The Sales Operations Analyst will play a critical role in establishing operational excellence and making important business decisions for the organization. You will play a key operational role while also providing valuable business insights for the sales team into their accounts, territories, and opportunities, which will optimize their productivity and enable them to better serve our external customers and prospects.  

Location This position will work from our Burlington, MA office.

What You’ll Do 

  • Assist in all facets of sales planning, including quotas, regional coverage, headcount, and sales plans 
  • Review weekly opportunity forecasts and metrics and provide analysis for Sales leaders
  • Support Salesforce data quality efforts including opportunity and account record management
  • Support the front-end use of Salesforce and ensure that is being utilized to its fullest capability 
  • Work closely with Sales leadership to define and manage KPIs required to ensure sales organization success 
  • Support quote-to-cash process through Salesforce CPQ 
  • Administer internal deal desk operations to ensure alignment between Sales and the rest of the organization
  • Administer sales compensations plans
  • Design and support sales opportunity-related activities that drive higher win rates
  • Provide Salesforce administration support

What You’ll Need
  • 1-3 years of relevant Financial Analyst or Sales Operations experience in Software or High-Tech organizations  
  • Must have extensive experience  
  • Enhanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint  
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ is a plus  
  • Demonstrated written and verbal presentation skills to present insights and compelling recommendations to a diverse and often senior audience  
  • Ability to drive change through collaboration and influence across multiple stakeholders with varied perspectives  
  • Flexibility to wear multiple hats and switch gears quickly  
  • Exceptional ability to build cross-functional business partnerships; communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with leaders in the sales and business development organizations  
  • The ability to adapt quickly to the evolving needs of a high-growth SaaS business and create pragmatic and innovative solutions to complex business problems.  
  • Self-starter with a high affinity for identifying and solving problems  
  • Can be highly flexible in adapting to the needs of the team and organization  
  • Preference for Boston or Muncie based applicant
