Program Manager (SaaS Migration)

Description

Ontario Systems has a new and exciting position as SaaS Program Manager in its Migration Management Department.

Location This position will be remote. Candidate may work where they live anywhere in the United States.

Visa sponsorship or transfer of an existing visa is not available for this position. Applicants must be authorized to work directly for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship or transfer.

What You’ll Do

  • Efficiently manage complex and/or high-profile programs moving customers to SaaS environment.
  • Manage and communicate a clear vision of the project’s objectives, and provide the necessary leadership for the Client Services team to accomplish those goals.
  • Provide oversight of partner relationships about client conversions and assist with projects that support divisional and corporate strategic migration initiatives.
  • Ensure appropriate timing, resources, pricing, value proposition, and sequencing of work efforts are aligned to produce a high-quality result within a given period.
  • Facilitate required decision-making for program progress.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of program metrics, controls, and communication tools.
  • Meet regularly with internal management teams to provide feedback and suggestions regarding process efficiency and effectiveness to establish best practices.
  • Develop and maintain communication in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of customers and company staff. 
  • Communicate with other team members regarding new ideas and concerns openly, honestly, and constructively.
  • Take responsibility for and make every effort to resolve communication concerns and problems.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge and a strong understanding of core project management; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience working with business partners.
  • Proficiency in managing complex, multi-phase technology programs lasting one to two years.
  • Experience measuring program performance by using various metrics, including earned value analysis.
  • Ability to manage critical and/or continuous issues with clients and internal teams, proactively and assertively conveying those concerns to partners.
  • Ability to work with multiple deadlines and assignments while maintaining a level of professionalism and a calm demeanor.
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project.
  • Advanced understanding of ODF.
  • Demonstrated capability to establish an internal network with business clients and key subject matter experts, ensuring proper assistance with problem management and resolution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and task organization skills.
