Business Product Manager - Healthcare Rev Cycle

Ontario Systems has a new and exciting position as Business Product Manager on our Product Team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the healthcare accounts receivable space facing the providers and outsourcers market and a solid track record of delivering on-time and on-budget product releases.

Location This position will be remote. Candidate may work where they live anywhere in the United States. This position may also work from one of our office locations in either Muncie, IN or Burlington, MA.

What You’ll Do
As Business Product Manager, you will be accountable and/or responsible for business results for a product line and/or a solution. You will work closely with Product Marketing and the Director of Product Management to determine appropriate changes to existing products and/or identify new areas of the revenue cycle to expand our product offerings. This professional self-starter will report to a Director, Product Management and work closely with key stakeholders in product marketing, sales, and marketing. Specific duties include:

  • Driving revenue growth and contribution margin of a product line/solution
  • Leading a cross-functional team to manage the business
  • Leading development of business strategy for a product line and/or a solution
    • Formulating cross-functional strategy and roadmap (near-term and long-term)
    • Understanding evolving technology trends, customer/buyer and end user needs, and competitive landscape; assessing roadmap impact
    • Maintaining the product roadmap
  • Driving product development business process (product lifecycle - plc) execution
    • Prioritizing customer (buyer and different end-user personas) problems to be solved
    • Driving business case development in concert with Segment Directors, Engineering Directors, Product Marketing, Marketing, Customer Success
      • Assisting with market definition and pricing model
    • Defining and refining buyer and user personas along with Product Marketing
    • Working with Technical Product Managers to develop a shared view of requirements and business value
    • Conducting lifecycle and overseeing win-loss analysis with Product Marketing
    • Managing business release launches, and helping Product Marketing with sales enablement
    • Responsible for lifecycle management

What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with internet technologies or within the Payments industry
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative methodologies to understand customers and an ability to explore and structure customers’ insights
  • Self-motivation, a team player who can work across the organization to develop and launch products and programs to spur revenue growth
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Demonstrated written and verbal presentation skills to present insights and compelling recommendations to a diverse and often senior audience
  • Ability to drive change through collaboration and influence across multiple stakeholders with varied perspectives
  • Exceptional ability to build cross-functional business partnerships; communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with leaders in the sales and business development organizations
  • The ability to adapt quickly to the evolving needs of a high-growth SaaS business and create pragmatic and innovative solutions to complex business problems.
  • Self-starter with a high affinity for identifying and solving problems
  • Can be highly flexible in adapting to the needs of the team and organization
  • Travel may be occasional.
