Ontario Systems has a new and exciting opportunity for a Director, Product Management (Payments Product/Strategy) in our innovative Product Department to support its rapidly growing and transforming business.

Location This position will be remote. Candidate may work where they live anywhere in the United States.

What You’ll Do

This candidate selected for this role will be empowered and tasked with defining and supporting key aspects of our payment services offering and experiences, including overseeing payment processing solutions, helping define strategies to unlock new segments for payments and enabling seamless integrations with Independent Software organizations to maximize payments revenue.

  • Define and develop a data-driven payments penetration product strategy (workflow analysis, market segmentation, competitive analysis, customer persona identification) in existing and new segments
  • Conduct formal evaluation and market research of payments processing workflow applications in adjacent subsegments
  • Analyze current customer and partner experiences to define friction points and lead a team of Technical Product Managers to create seamless and effortless experiences through API’s
  • Lead the planning, prioritization, and execution of a compelling payments roadmap
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders within payment operations, sales, platform product management, product engineering, solution adoption to ensure payments revenue and margin KPI’s are achieved
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to manage the development and execution of a comprehensive, strategic go-to-market strategy including value prop development, packaging and pricing models, and compelling field marketing deliverables to drive positive and meaningful business growth for customers and partners including ROI analysis

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, math or equivalent software engineering experience (MBA is preferred)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with internet technologies or within the Payments industry. Must have some experience in Healthcare IT – ideally, Healthcare Payments.
  • Experience and ability to lead a team of Technical Product Managers in developing robust API’s for Independent Software Vendors (Channel Partners) and for existing OS products and Clients.
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative methodologies to understand customers and an ability to explore and structure customers’ insights
  • Self-motivation, a team player who can work across the organization to develop and launch products and programs to spur revenue growth
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
