Ontario Systems has a new and exciting position as Senior Solutions Consultant (Payments) on our Product Team.

Location This position will be remote. Candidate may work where they live anywhere in the United States.

Visa sponsorship or transfer of an existing visa is not available for this position. Applicants must be authorized to work directly for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship or transfer.

What You’ll Do

  • Work cross-functionally with our pre-sales, sales, implementation, product, engineering, and client retention teams to ensure that payment processing is appropriately set up in our applications
  • Answer questions regarding value prop and merchant processing processes including chargebacks, disputes, invoicing, and general payment product inquiries
  • Provide demo accounts to clients using the API to develop a solution in-house, assist with any questions during development process, and provide final certification prior to allowing a client payment processing solution to go live
  • Provide status updates on any outstanding payment client implementation with regards to payments configuration, including gateway configuration and MID acquisition
  • Document needed MIDs and their respective keys
  • Assist with configuration of external third-party software with Payment VAR sheet(s)
  • Attend welcome meetings and assist with initial user configurations and reporting as necessary to support implementation team
  • Assist with payment-related support issues like additional feature enablement, technical issues, and reconciliation issues

What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, math or equivalent software engineering experience (MBA is preferred)
  • 7-10 years of industry-specific experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of best practices on APIs and security aspects of technical payment processing
  • The ability to distinguish the differences between a standard product and a custom configuration, and the ability to determine if a client is a good fit for product standardization
  • Customer service orientation, a client-focused mentality, and the ability to accommodate client’s needs while having internal discussions
