Description

Ontario Systems has a new and exciting position as HR Business Partner in our Talent (Human Resources) Department. We’re looking for an HR leader who is adventurous, innovative, able to move at the speed of light, and enjoys using proven HR skills to help influence, design, and execute HR strategies that foster organizational growth and people effectiveness.

Location This position will be remote. Candidate may work where they live anywhere in the United States.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies focused on talent development, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee relations and employee engagement
  • Coordinate with other HR team members on the design and implementation of HR initiatives
  • Understand and translate business priorities into a high-impact HR agenda that will support our growing business
  • Help business leaders make decisions with data-driven recommendations to improve performance, retention, and overall employee engagement
  • Work with hiring managers to create, revise, and/or finalize job descriptions, providing counsel regarding strategy and competency alignment
  • Facilitate Touchpoint meetings with new employees and hiring managers, coaching and consulting hiring managers on critical personnel decisions
  • Think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate cross-functionally across different teams, levels, and situations
  • Develop and maintain employment law and performance management best practices, while keeping up-to-date on new regulations

What You’ll Need
  • Basic Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree from accredited university
    • 5+ years human resource business partner experience
    • Experience in a corporate environment, SaaS or software technology
    • Polished communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Highly detailed, organized, and efficient
    • Maintaining a sense of urgency working in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Master's Degree in HRM, MBA, and/or HR certification preferred
    • Human Resources experience with growing, large tech companies supporting 500 or more associates
    • Demonstrated success in implementing a performance management structure and effective coaching techniques
    • Strong knowledge of employment law
