Onset Technologies is seeking a .NET Developer to design, develop, and modernize reporting frameworks and financial systems for the Texas Education Agency. The role involves working on complex legacy systems, implementing scalable solutions using modern Microsoft technologies, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient delivery. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in .NET 8.0/9.0, Blazor, Oracle databases, and SCRUM/Agile methodologies, with experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.

The role involves working on complex legacy systems, implementing scalable solutions using modern Microsoft technologies, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient delivery. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in .NET 8.0/9.0, Blazor, Oracle databases, and SCRUM/Agile methodologies, with experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a new reporting framework using .NET 8.0/9.0, Blazor, and other modern Microsoft technologies.
- Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in a SCRUM/Agile environment.
- Analyze and enhance existing complex reports built with Crystal Reports integrated with Oracle databases.
- Develop scalable and high-performance financial system solutions, ensuring seamless database integration using Oracle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, to maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
- Provide innovative solutions to modernize and streamline the existing legacy project, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- 8+ years experience with Entity Framework, Oracle (PL/SQL, stored procedures, database management, performance tuning), data modeling, and modern design principles.
- 6+ years experience with Blazor Server, Blazor WSM, and Fluent UI.
- 5+ years experience with Bitbucket version control, Nomad, and Consul.
- 2+ years experience with .NET 8.0/9.0, C#, and Visual Studio.
- Advanced proficiency in SAS programming.
- Skilled in SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and reporting frameworks.
- Effective communicator and collaborator across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years experience with project-specific tools such as JIRA, TEMPO, Bitbucket, Confluence.
- 3+ years prior Texas State Agency experience.
