Salary range $130K to $150K CAD, commensurate with experience
Electronic Coating Technologies is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive revenue, profitability, and market expansion. This role requires technical expertise in coating chemistries for printed circuit boards (PCBs) and complex electronics. You will serve as a bridge between customer technical needs and operational capabilities, while also helping to build channel partnerships that acquire and nurture key accounts. In addition, the Sales Manager will evaluate market opportunities, qualify leads for chemistry compatibility, and deliver value-added solutions that protect PCBs and other critical electronic components.
Sales Manager Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, or a related technical field strongly preferred
- 5+ years of experience managing sales and sales teams in industrial manufacturing in the US and Canada, with a proven track record of consistent sales growth
- Strong technical understanding of coating chemistries (e.g., Parylene, Acrylics, Silicones, Urethanes, Epoxies) and their applications
- Knowledge of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly, protection standards (IPC), and manufacturing environments
- Experience in medical device, electronics, automotive, and aerospace manufacturing environments is a significant plus
- Demonstrated financial aptitude in forecasting, NPV analysis, and pipeline management
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and CRM/ERP software
- Ability to actively listen, interpret technical requirements, and present complex solutions to groups or individuals
- Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time in the US and Canada for customer meetings, trade shows, and operational visits
- Act as a change agent with high integrity, urgency, and the ability to mentor remote, cross-functional teams

Sales Manager Job Responsibilities
- Oversee performance of accounts, key personnel and channel partners to ensure revenue and profitability targets are met or exceeded.
- Develop and execute a sales plan using market data and industry trends to identify high-potential applications and market segments for growth.
- Monitor pipeline status weekly, managing the funnel from lead generation to close, and reporting status to leadership.
- Identify high-potential prospects through market analysis, cold-calling, attending trade shows, and responding to inbound inquiries.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic customers and partners to drive mutual value and secure commitments.
- Lead cross-departmental coordination between Customer Service, Sales, Production, and Quality to disseminate product information, resolve issues, and ensure technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Deliver impactful sales presentations and consistently follow-up to build trust.
- Manage channel partner payment and commission structures by analyzing territory sales, verifying against goals, and ensuring timely, accurate payments.
