Salary $25/hour

Electronic Coating Technologies is seeking a Quality Control Technician, responsible for ensuring that products consistently meet customer expectations and all applicable compliance requirements. The Quality Control Technician will conduct detailed inspections in accordance with IPC and NASA standards, identify and document nonconformances, and support corrective action processes in alignment with ISO standards and the Internal Classification Chart.

Quality Control Technician Job Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and minimum one year of experience in electronic assembly; IPC-A-610 certification preferred
• Minimum one year of experience in Quality Management Systems IS09001 preferred
• Minimum three years’ experience with IPC-A-610, NASA-STD-8739.1 inspection standards preferred
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with MS Office Suite

Quality Control Technician Job Responsibilities

• Inspect products to meet customer requirements by identifying nonconformances and working with production to determine root causes.
• Document all quality incidents by recording inspection results and nonconformances in Daily Quality Reports and the MDI log.
• Process nonconforming products by tagging, reporting, and coordinating repairs or scrapping within required timelines.
• Maintain 6S standards by keeping work areas clean, organized, and properly set up each day.
• Support continuous quality improvement by collaborating with Operations and customers and staying current on industry trends and training.
• Manage RMAs by prioritizing rework and ensuring all reworked items pass QC inspection and documentation requirements.
• Verify product compliance by generating and logging FAI reports and maintaining the tightened inspection log.
• Train and support machine operators by promoting best practices and procedures that reduce quality errors and improve overall manufacturing performance.
