JOB DESCRIPTION

• Implement, enhance, and maintain test automation frameworks for Jobvite’s web and mobile applications
• Develop, maintain, and execute API and UI automated tests to ensure sufficient test coverage in various areas across the Jobvite application
• Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to understand product requirements, UX design, and engineering design to author test plans and implement scalable test automation solutions
• Coordinate various test-related activities for ensuring on-time project delivery including identifying task dependencies, test schedules, creation of test data, and effective utilization of test environments

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or) equivalent field
• 5+ years of quality engineering and/or software development experience
• Quality advocate with a good understanding of QA best practices
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java and object-oriented programming methodologies
• Strong background utilizing test frameworks like TestNG/JUnit
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with UI automation using Selenium
• Experience with RESTful web services/API automation
• Experience working with source control systems like SVN, Git, CVS, Perforce
• Understanding of CI/CD and experience working with tools like Jenkins, Team City
• Experience with test case management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, TestLink and bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• White box testing mindset and ability to automate at the right layer in the code stack
• Hands-on experience with mobile test automation frameworks like Appium
• SCJP/OCPJP certification
