Role Overview    
ON24 is seeking a Sr. Manager, Marketing Programs to drive executional excellence and continuous improvement for all of ON24’s webinar, virtual event and foundational marketing programs. This person will be responsible for the strategy, execution, measurement and optimization of ON24’s webinar calendar, including owned and sponsored engagements, large scale virtual events in addition to foundational, global integrated marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have experience completely owning a webinar function, diligently executing while proactively seeking areas of improvement. Strong communication and project management skills are essential.
 

Responsibilities  

Strategy 

  • Partner in the planning of ON24’s marketing programs across the buyer’s journey, informed by data & insights; then set the example for building and execution end-to-end 
  • Drive effective promotional and follow-up strategies, ensuring marketing programs hit targets and meaningfully contribute to pipeline growth
  • Document process and enforce consistency, quality, and governance across various systems
  • Establish best practices, documentation, and refinement of process to optimize programs with specialized focus on use of the ON24 platform
  • Think critically about shifting business needs and allow our programming to be agile; always running optimally 
  • Push the limits of what is possible with digital experiences - bring innovative ideas to the table and develop forward thinking implementations of ON24 capabilities, data and integrations with marketing automation

Execution

  • Coordinate the planning and execution of all foundational programming, including setting editorial calendars with stakeholders/program leads, filling out briefs, and tracking program execution through our project management tools and open communication with executional owners
  • Work with Sales and Sales Development teams to ensure effective lead hand off, strengthening partnerships and driving down funnel conversion rate optimization
  • Ensure all foundational programs are well designed per the buyer’s journey, operationally sound, and QA’d 
  • Set developmental direction/best practices, including program objectives and messaging
  • Test and refine fresh marketing approaches to reach and engage key audiences, focusing on the specific requirements of individual sales teams where appropriate
  • Coordination with entire marketing team to align with go to market activity on-going and ad hoc 

Reporting

  • Use DOMO, Marketo, and Salesforce reports to track campaign/program performance and inform future programs’ design  
  • Use ON24 platform to guide future programs’ development 
  • Use data and analytics to draw insights & continually optimize campaigns; inform internal stakeholders of performance
  • Primary business KPIs will be engagement across audiences, contribution to pipeline, and revenue generation

Qualifications 

  • 5-6 years of Marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS with specialized focus on webinar and virtual event programming 
  • Deep knowledge of the ON24 platform with experience building, broadcasting and reporting on webinar success
  • Experience with Salesforce and Marketo a huge plus
  • Inquisitive and innovative - test and learn mentality with a hunger to leverage the latest product releases and drive innovation within the ON24 platform
  • Experience reporting on campaigns using Marketo and Salesforce, DOMO or similar business intelligence tools
  • Experience using analytics to draw insights & continually optimize campaigns. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; data driven mindset
  • Strong project management skills, highly organized and strong attention to detail
  • Motivated, self-starter attitude, ready to come to the table with ideas 
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

The base pay range for this position is $130K to $145K. This range is not a guarantee of actual compensation that may be earned nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee, which is always dependent on relevant experience, education, skills, location, and other applicable factors.
