Role Overview:
ON24 is seeking an experienced marketing operations and technology leader to own and evolve the company’s global MarTech stack, enabling scalable growth and operational efficiency. This role serves as the subject matter expert on marketing systems, driving tool selection, integrations, process standardization, and cross-functional collaboration. The position is highly strategic, requiring expertise in MarTech evaluation and consolidation, data model management, and ongoing system optimization, while also being hands-on with administration of tools like Marketo, Salesforce, LeanData, and ABM platforms.
Key responsibilities include guiding stakeholders in translating business needs into technology solutions, ensuring seamless integrations, developing documentation and enablement, establishing campaign and lead management workflows, and continuously improving processes for efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in marketing operations/MarTech, deep knowledge of Marketo, SFDC, and LeanData, and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to driving adoption and maximizing value from marketing technology investments.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, select and contract new tools, guide stakeholders, translate use cases into business solutions, and identify business requirements and needs.
- Drive global strategy and evolution of the marketing tech stack. Build solutions to enable growth and productivity routinely auditing, optimizing and managing the technology and look across the business for potential areas of tech consolidation
- Oversee the MarTech stack as the subject matter expert
- Manage ongoing operations and administration including ABM tools, direct mail, and other third party tools in the MarTech ecosystem.
- Serve as technical lead and expert to scale technologies and lead their usage
- Create and maintain documentation including marketing system architecture and internal enablement
- Set up, test and maintain third-party integrations including troubleshooting sync or data errors and track API calls to confirm we are within contract.
- Establish standardized processes and workflows for campaign planning, execution, lead management, and reporting
- Continuously improve and streamline marketing processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness
- Evaluate and assist in data model management in partnership with teams like sales operations, data governance, and compliance
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in marketing operations and/or marketing technology, with a strong focus on tools such as 6sense, Drift, On24, Sendoso, etc.
- Must have extensive experience with Marketo, SFDC and LeanData
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, partnering with stakeholders from various departments such as marketing, engineering, and IT
- Experience in marketing technology, process, and data management capabilities within marketing operations

The base pay range for this position is $140,000 to $150,000. This range is not a guarantee of actual compensation that may be earned nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee, which is always dependent on relevant experience, education, skills, location, and other applicable factors.
