Event Specialist – Part Time

The ON24 Event Specialist is responsible for the delivery of customer events using ON24’s virtual product suite.

Event specialists are responsible for:

  1. Providing an enhanced ON24 experience for customers and attendees
  2. Managing live events
  3. Customer training
  4. Event troubleshooting and escalation

This role requires a responsible and detail oriented individual. Customer service, a keen understanding of technology, and an interest in thriving in a deadline driven environment are critical components of this role.

Position Requirements

  1. Knowledge of live streaming content
  1. Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
  1. Ability to work independently
  2. Awareness and understanding of Internet browser software, webcam configurations/set up, and Windows/Apple operating systems

Essential Skills

  1. Well organized and able to provide high quality work 100% of the time
  2. Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously
  3. Sense of urgency to provide a rapid response to client requests
  4. Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  1. Provide customer trainings prior to live event
  2. Manage and monitor live event ensuring success
  3. Perform event related tasks, such as edits, answering audience member technical questions, and other administrative tasks related to role
  4. Act as product and subject matter expert
  5. Providing technical support and guidance
  6. Drive customer satisfaction with excellent customer service
  7. Perform webinar and virtual event related activities as necessary
  8. Event specialists may be requested to work outside of regional business hours, on holidays, and/or weekends
