Role Overview:   
    
ON24 is seeking an Email & Database Marketing Manager to drive executional excellence and continuous improvement for all ON24’s email and database lifecycle programs. This person will be responsible for the strategy, execution, measurement and optimization of our email channel, database segmentation strategies and nurture programs. The ideal candidate will have experience partnering with Marketing Operations and program owners to maintain a comprehensive email calendar, proactively seek areas of improvement while optimizing for database health, lead generation and funnel velocity.    
   
Responsibilities:    
  • Create strategic, performant email nurture programs that utilize automation and segmentation for pin-point relevance and real funnel impact 
  • Proactively identify database opportunities through segmentation and analysis to run highly effective, personalized campaigns for target audiences 
  • Strategize, test, and implement tactics to nurture and engage buyers based on their stage in the buyers’ journey, and move them to the next relevant stage 
  • Maintain a comprehensive email calendar, guiding program owners for optimal delivery times, email best practices and database health 
  • Analyze and report on email channel metrics, both leading and down-funnel, and create and implement strategies to consistently improve performance 
  • Act as the email marketing expert for customer-facing teams through Marketo and Outreach 
  • Perform thorough quality assurance on all emails and nurture programs to ensure error-free delivery 
  • Stay current with email marketing trends and best practices and regularly implement and communicate these opportunities with the wider team  
  • Become an expert in database segmentation and provide this knowledge as a strategic partner to other program owners on the marketing team 
  • Identify testing opportunities, execute, and report on these results to ensure team-wide adoption of best practices 
  • Measure and report on channel success using data from Marketo and SFDC, sharing results to the wider team with well-formed recommendations for improvement. 
  • Ensure email marketing compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM)  
  • Become subject matter expert and best practice engineer for the integration of ON24 into Marketo, utilizing ON24 engagement data to enhance email programs 
Skills & Experience:     
  • 3-4+ years of success designing and executing B2B marketing programs with specialized focus on email marketing
  • Experience designing campaigns to target buyers and customers based on their lifecycle stage
  • Self-motivated strategic thinker with proven ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong background in cross-functional work, effective communication, and operational diligence.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully partner with marketing operations
  • Experience with Marketo, certification preferred
  • Experience with ON24/Marketo integration preferred

The base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $125,000. This range is not a guarantee of actual compensation that may be earned nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee, which is always dependent on relevant experience, education, skills, location, and other applicable factors.
